Graphic Design Internships
Graphic Design Internships During your internship, you will help the LGBT Network in Woodbury in designing marketing collateral, creating social media graphics, and assist with other activities as needed. This internship position will provide someone with substantial experience in graphic design and develop a working portfolio while also gaining valuable office experience and an understanding of the operations of a non-profit department. Qualification Requirements: Experience in Adobe CC, specifically Photoshop, InDesign and Illustrator highly preferred Experience in Dreamweaver and/or WordPress preferred Knowledge of Typography and Layout required Excellent computer skills including MS Office specifically Word and Excel Assist with various social media projects Outstanding attention to detail; strong organizational and multi-tasking skills Strong phone, verbal, interpersonal and communication skills Ability to operate standard office equipment (fax, photocopier, etc.) Provide support with sending mailings and invitations Experience with email marketing and Mail Chimp would be a plus Help in pre-preparation and organizing of events Interest in a non-profit career, particularly in Graphic design Interns will be expected to work 15–25 hours per week, varying between the hours of 10:00am–6:00pm, Monday through Friday in our Woodbury, NY office. Salary and Benefits: This is an unpaid internship. We encourage you to use this internship to gain course credit and to seek out "work-study" grants with your college, if that is an option.
